We could not have asked for a more timely event than this one!!
Join the U.S. Constitution Scholarship Foundation for a fun and educational evening at the Constitution Bowl Watch Party. The event will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 5:30 pm, at Walkers Landing on Amelia Island Plantation.
The U.S. Constitution Scholarship Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing knowledge and understanding of the U.S. Constitution through scholarships, grants, and educational programs. The Constitution Bowl, created in 2015, is one such program. High school students from all Nassau County schools and home school students can compete for thousands of dollars in scholarship awards by answering questions about the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and key Supreme Court decisions.
The Foundation was founded in 1998 by concerned citizens who wanted to promote the study of the U.S. Constitution in schools and communities across the nation. Since then, the Foundation has awarded millions of dollars in scholarships and grants to students and teachers who have demonstrated a commitment to learning and teaching about the Constitution.
The Constitution Bowl Watch Party will be held live at Wildlight Elementary School and streamed to Watch Parties at Walkers Landing and Nassau County Council on Aging’s Senior Life Center in Hilliard. Bradley Bean, Fernandina Beach Mayor, will moderate the event. The evening will begin with a pre-event at 5:30 pm, where attendees can enjoy cash bar drinks and free hors d’oeuvres. The live event streaming of the Constitution Bowl will begin at 6:30 pm.
Seating is limited, so RSVP today by emailing [email protected]. The U.S. Constitution Scholarship Foundation is a nonprofit organization recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt, public charity identified as a 501(c)(3) organization. Your support helps the Foundation continue its important work of promoting the study of the U.S. Constitution.
