Government assault on young children continues and worsens

The federal regulation known as Title IX is about to get even worse. Fortunately, Jacksonville parents are on guard and plan to try to protect their children.

The Biden administration is preparing to make changes to the law and Moms for Liberty say the changes will:

· Allow schools to withhold information from parents concerning so-called “gender transition.” This is what the local government schools were doing until recently, until barred by a new Florida law.

· Allow males to participate in girls’ sports.

· Punish students and teachers for “misgendering,” which is another Far Left fantasy.

· Bathroom, locker rooms and overnight housing on field trips no longer will be separated by sex. Local school already allow males to use female bathrooms.

Opponents say: “Acting without legal authority and without scientifically credible evidence, the department is proclaiming that the only acceptable response to children who state that they are experiencing a disconnect between their body and a perceived ‘gender identity’ is immediate and unquestioning affirmation of a discordant gender identity.”

This lunacy is called being “woke.” Actually those perpetuating this nonsense are asleep.

What liberals are doing is destroying the government schools by forcing millions of students to be removed by their parents and sent to private school or homeschooled. Either they can’t see that or they are doing it deliberately, which would be strange considering that the teacher union bosses are among the main financiers of the Democrat Party.

Parents want their children to be educated, not indoctrinated in the latest liberal fads. Moms for Liberty and other watchdog groups are alert to the threat and plan action to oppose the miseducation of their children.

But it seems the more resistance there is, the more the “government is god” forces double down. Freedom is at stake.
